Kensington Ridge by Del Webb is more than just a community; it’s a destination for active adults seeking connection, wellness, and flexibility in their everyday lives. Designed with the Del Webb philosophy at its core, this community blends thoughtful architecture with vibrant social spaces to create an unparalleled living experience. Fieldstone A&E was thrilled to work with PulteGroup’s Michigan Division to bring this project to life.

A Clubhouse That Defines Community
The 16,800 sq. ft. clubhouse is a true showpiece that embodies the brand’s commitment to lifestyle. Originally envisioned as a modern ranch, the design evolved into a modern farmhouse style, adding charm and character while maintaining functionality. This blend of aesthetics and practicality makes Kensington Ridge a standout among similar communities.
Step inside and you’ll find:
- Great Room: A warm, inviting space with a communal counter, bar, and soft seating around a cozy fireplace and TV.
- Movement & Fitness Studios: Residents can stay active with state-of-the-art fitness areas, including a unique design feature, a window connecting the fitness room to the pool area, fostering a sense of openness and engagement.
- Social Hall & Flex Room: Perfect for gatherings, card games, meetings, or private dining.
- Catering Prep & Pantry Areas: Ideal for hosting events with ease.

Indoor-Outdoor Harmony
One of the standout design elements is the seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. The Veranda, with its soaring ceiling and two-sided fireplace, opens to the Grand Patio, where there is plenty of table seating as well as cozy seating around fire tables. Beyond that, residents can enjoy:
- Expansive outdoor patio
- Fire pit with Adirondack seating
- Pickleball, tennis, and bocce courts
- Activity lawn and sandy beach by the lake

Year-Round Recreation
Unlike most communities, Kensington Ridge offers an indoor pool for year-round enjoyment, complemented by a whirlpool surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass. Folding wall panels allow the pool area to open to the sun deck during warmer months, creating a resort-like atmosphere.

Designed for Flexibility and Connection
“Del Webb’s design philosophy ensures that while you’re engaged in one activity, you can see and feel connected to others,” explains Fieldstone A&E Chief Design Officer Dan Langefels. “View corridors, open layouts, and adaptable spaces encourage interaction and make it easy to join in on the fun.”
Whether it’s a fitness class, a social event, or a quiet moment by the fire pit, Kensington Ridge offers something for everyone.
