Fieldstone A&E, LLC, an international architecture and engineering firm specializing in residential and commercial structures, is seeking a skilled CAD Drafter.

The Drafter will prepare clear, complete, and accurate detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches, existing libraries and client specifications using Autodesk Architecture 2012 and/or REVIT Architecture 2013. Utilize Autodesk software to provide support to Architects, Engineers, Project & Studio Managers by preparing detailed drawings. This person must possess basic knowledge of residential and commercial construction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Produces Construction Documents and Brochures in compliance with Client’s requirements and production systems (Autodesk Architecture / REVIT/ Blackpoint / Softplan, etc).
Prepares Design Development drawings of residential and commercial structures from sketches.
Modifies drawings by studying changes; redrawing assemblies, components, and parts; changing annotations; following redline instructions.
Work closely with Architects/Engineers/Project & Studio Managers to ensure jobs run smoothly.
Other duties as assigned.
BS in Architecture/Engineering (or) AS in Drafting in related field & 2-5 years’ experience (or) HS Diploma 5-7 years’ experience in architectural drafting or carpentry/construction.
Experience with Autodesk Architecture and/or REVIT Architecture required.

Ability to recognize and solve problems without direct supervision
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient in AutoCAD Architecture and/or REVIT Architecture, Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability and willingness to learn additional 3D drafting/engineering programs.
